The Reggina squad is currently in an intensive training camp in Cantalupa, where excitement is building following an impressive 13-0 victory in their first friendly match against Polisportiva Bruinese. Despite the enthusiasm, the team's focus remains on daily training to ensure they are in peak condition for the start of the season.
After the friendly, defender Domenico Girasole shared insights about the team's current state during an interview with Reggio Tv. He emphasized the positive atmosphere within the squad and the diligent work being done under the guidance of coach Marco Marchionni.
"The club is providing us with the best conditions to work," Girasole stated. "The coach has clear ideas and is very demanding. We are trying to absorb his playing principles as quickly as possible. The group has undergone significant changes, and while it will take time to gel, we are on the right path."
Girasole also reflected on the importance of the friendly match, highlighting that it served a purpose beyond the scoreline.
