Reggina on the Verge of Signing Patierno: Agreement Reached with Avellino Striker
Reggina is close to signing Cosimo Patierno from Avellino, pending a mutual contract resolution. The striker's experience could bolster Reggina's attack for the upcoming season.

Reggina is reportedly close to finalizing a significant transfer with the acquisition of Cosimo Patierno, according to Il Tifoso Reggino. The amaranto club has reached a preliminary agreement with the Avellino forward, but a crucial step remains before the deal can be officially completed.
The 1991-born striker must negotiate a mutual termination of his contract with Avellino and finalize the remaining economic details. Only after this agreement is secured can Reggina proceed with the official announcement of the transfer.
Patierno is expected to bring a wealth of experience to Reggina's attacking lineup. He joins from Avellino, where he played a pivotal role in their promotion to Serie B, having netted 15 goals during a standout season in Serie C.
Throughout his career, Patierno has consistently showcased his goal-scoring ability, accumulating valuable experience in both Serie C and Serie D with clubs like Bitonto, Virtus Francavilla, and Nardò. Known for his physical presence, aerial prowess, and ability to shield the ball, he is regarded as a striker capable of providing strength and effectiveness in the final third.
Reggina is now awaiting the final green light to complete the operation. Should an agreement be reached between Patierno and Avellino, coach Marco Marchionni will have the benefit of an experienced and reliable striker, poised to play a significant role in the club's new technical project.
