Before Torres returns from an extended summer break following his World Cup triumph, PSG aims to wrap up discussions with Barcelona. While this may initially seem ambitious, it is not entirely outlandish given Barcelona's clear stance on the matter.
Barcelona is keen to extend Torres' contract, which runs until 2027, but they are unwilling to make significant financial adjustments. The club's strategy involves offering the 26-year-old a contract that maintains his current salary. However, it remains uncertain if this will be sufficient to convince Torres to stay.

In addition to their pursuit of Torres, PSG is also eyeing Mika Godts, a 21-year-old regarded as one of the most promising talents in European football. Godts made headlines last season with an impressive tally of 17 goals and 15 assists. However, Ajax Amsterdam has rejected PSG's initial offer of €45 million, including bonuses, as the Dutch club is holding out for €60 million.
