At CinemaCon 2024, the trailer for the biopic 'Michael' was unveiled, showcasing the life of Michael Jackson, featuring over 30 songs and iconic performances.
On April 11, 2024, the CinemaCon audience was treated to an exciting preview of Michael, a biographical film chronicling the life of the legendary Michael Jackson. Produced by Lionsgate in collaboration with Graham King of GK Films, known for Bohemian Rhapsody, the film also has the backing of Jackson's estate executors, John Branca and John McClain.
Erik Davis from Fandango reported that the initial footage received an enthusiastic response, stating, "The first footage from #Michael just dropped to very loud applause. Featuring over 30 songs and recreating many of Jackson’s most iconic performances, it looked really good." The film is set to hit theaters on April 18, 2025.
