Shawn Levy Discusses Potential Sequel to Real Steel
Shawn Levy discusses the possibility of a sequel to Real Steel during CinemaCon, expressing ongoing interest in developing Real Steel 2.

During the recent CinemaCon event in Las Vegas, director Shawn Levy revisited the topic of a potential sequel to his 2012 film Real Steel, which starred Hugh Jackman.
When asked by ScreenRant about the possibility of a follow-up, Levy expressed enthusiasm, stating:
"We always talk about Real Steel 2. This mode allows us not to forget, which makes me happy."
This conversation comes on the heels of a previous announcement regarding the development of a Real Steel series for Disney+.
The original film, featuring performances by Jackman, Evangeline Lilly, and Dakota Goyo, achieved global box office success, grossing just under 300 million dollars. In the United States alone, Levy's film earned $85.4 million.
Fans of the movie continue to show interest in its legacy, and Levy's comments suggest that the story of robotic boxing may not be over yet. With the original film's popularity and the planned series, there is a renewed hope for those looking forward to more from the Real Steel universe.
