Catanzaro Kicks Off Pre-Season Training in Livigno
Catanzaro officially starts their summer training in Livigno, preparing for the new season under coach Giorgio Gorgone with a focus on player fitness and rehabilitation.

The summer training preparations for Catanzaro have officially commenced as they gear up for the upcoming season. Under the guidance of coach Giorgio Gorgone, the team arrived in Livigno, Valtellina, where they kicked off their pre-season camp with their first training session in the afternoon.
The yellow-red squad began their work with a focus on cooldown exercises and joint mobility before moving on to light jogging and some sprints, all under the watchful eye of athletic trainer Professor Patrizio Ianni. The first day on the field concluded with a gym session aimed at gradually acclimating the team to the increased workload expected in the coming weeks.
Monitoring the players' fitness closely is the medical staff led by Dr. Massimo Iera. A few squad members have started the camp with personalized training programs.
Franck Tchaouna is currently undergoing differentiated training as a precaution due to a strain in his right hamstring sustained during the initial training session. Giovanni Volpe is also following an individual regimen due to muscle overload in his abdominal muscles and adductors.
Meanwhile, captain Pietro Iemmello is focused on his recovery, completing a rehabilitation program after suffering a soleus injury in his right leg last season. He remains at the training facility to follow a tailored program that is set to conclude next week.
With this training camp in Livigno, Catanzaro has embarked on a new sporting year, marking a crucial phase in building the team and preparing for official matches ahead.
