Agathe's Confession

Early in the morning, Captain Ruiz arrives at Agathe's home to inform her that she is being placed in custody. Meanwhile, Valérie receives a summons to the police station. Alex informs her that Agathe has been arrested in connection with the investigation into Fourneau's death. He also reveals that Agathe had an affair with the director of Midi Libre, a revelation that hits Valérie hard, as she has been friends with Agathe for over two decades.

During her interrogation, Agathe ultimately confesses. "I wasn’t just his mistress; I was so much more. We loved each other. For years, we fought against our feelings to spare Valérie’s feelings, but we broke. Nicolas hadn’t loved Valérie for a long time. Their marriage was over, while what Nicolas and I had was undeniable," she explains.

She continues, "He was afraid his wife would find out, so he chose to end it. He wasn’t ready, so I waited. I thought he would come back to me when the time was right. When Valérie told me he was seeing Elisabeth Bastide, I realized he was trying to move on, and that drove me mad."

Days before his death, Agathe confronted Fourneau to express her lingering feelings, but he had moved on and fallen for Elisabeth. He told her that nothing would ever happen between them again and urged her to forget him as he had forgotten her. "I got a gun. I didn’t know if I would go through with it. I waited for him by his parking lot, still hesitant. I was completely lost. When I saw him, I stopped thinking. It was as if my body moved on its own. I walked towards him and shot," she recounts.

Afterward, Agathe returned home, where the gravity of her actions hit her. In a fit of revenge, she decided to hide the weapon in Elisabeth’s garden to make her understand the pain of losing the man she loved.

Later, Prosecutor Picard praises Commissioner Becker for successfully extracting Agathe’s confession.

As night falls, Alain learns that the true murderer of Fourneau has been caught, and the charges against him are dropped. Overjoyed, Flore embraces her father in celebration.

Clara's Threat to Salomé

At the high school, the atmosphere is tense. Alexis struggles to cope with their friend group fracturing due to the ongoing drama.

Meanwhile, Pablo attempts to engage Noura in conversation. Although she refuses to speak with him, he makes it clear that he doesn’t want them to become strangers. Noura, however, brushes him off and tells him to stop following her with his sad demeanor.

Nearby, Alexis informs Salomé that he spoke with Clara. She assured him that she never sent the message to Noura or pushed her down the stairs. Yet, Salomé insists that she is telling the truth and that Clara is lying, but her attempts to convince Alexis are futile.

Upon returning home, Salomé encounters Clara, who ominously states, "It’s dangerous to be mean to me." Fortunately, Salomé stands firm and conveys that she is not intimidated.

Simultaneously, Noura visits Pablo to collect her belongings. He tries once more to talk, but she refuses to listen and leaves in tears.

Later, Sabine attempts to lift Pablo's spirits, believing that time will heal their issues. She eventually succeeds in bringing a smile to his face and suggests a movie night to distract him from his troubles.
