Inter's Ambitious Renovation Project in Appiano Gentile

Innovation is the key focus for Inter Milan as the club embarks on a significant renovation project in Appiano Gentile. According to FcInterNews, the club plans to invest approximately 100 million euros into the construction, modernization, and refurbishment of their training facilities. Importantly, this investment will not affect the player acquisition budget for the current and future transfer windows.

Currently, work is underway to complete a new building dedicated to the first team, which is expected to be finished by the end of their Asian tour. This facility will feature a recovery area with a rehabilitation pool, a new locker room, as well as additional sauna and Turkish bath facilities. In conjunction with this, the building currently used for press conferences will also undergo renovations, transforming it into a space capable of hosting up to 80 individuals.

To enhance the mental well-being of the athletes, Inter will collaborate with Professor Ceccarelli from the Mental Economy Training (MET), a professional known for his work with tennis player Jannik Sinner.

The redevelopment of the sports center, which honors Angelo Moratti, is not limited to the first team. The entire project is expected to be completed within two years and will also benefit the Under 23 squad. Starting in October, a new building dedicated to the second team will be constructed, featuring a gym, offices, and unique spaces. Additionally, a covered grandstand with hospitality facilities will be added, alongside the creation of a fifth training pitch, which is currently not available.

Moreover, Interello has also seen improvements, including the construction of a new building for the women's team. In the coming months, prior to autumn, a new covered grandstand will be erected to complement the existing match fields.
