Ajax Eyes Another Star Signing Following Brandt and Ter Stegen Acquisitions
Ajax Amsterdam has made headlines with the signings of Marc-André Ter Stegen and Julian Brandt, and is now pursuing Mika Godts from PSG, while considering a return for Noa Lang.

Ajax Amsterdam has recently announced the signings of Marc-André Ter Stegen and Julian Brandt, adding significant talent to their roster. Now, the Dutch giants appear to be targeting yet another high-profile addition.
The club is currently in negotiations with Paris Saint-Germain for a transfer involving 21-year-old Mika Godts. According to reports from Voetbal International, discussions are progressing, although there remains a gap between Ajax's asking price of €60 million and PSG's initial offer. However, this discrepancy is not deemed insurmountable. In the meantime, Ajax is also exploring the market for potential replacements.
Noa Lang Set for Possible Return
At the top of Ajax's list for replacements is Noa Lang. The left winger has had a mixed tenure at SSC Napoli and is reportedly open to a return to Johan Cruyff Arena.

Lang developed through the Ajax academy from the age of 14, making his professional debut in the Eredivisie before transferring to Club Brugge for €6 million in 2021. After a stint at PSV Eindhoven, he moved to Napoli last summer for €25 million.
Under the management of Antonio Conte, Lang struggled to establish himself, leading to interpersonal issues between the player and coach. Consequently, he was loaned out to Galatasaray during the winter transfer window.
Last season, Lang made 25 appearances for Napoli, contributing one goal and two assists. Reports indicate that Napoli is open to a new loan deal with an obligation to buy, with a permanent transfer potentially set at around €25 million.
Potential Moves Dependent on Godts
Concrete negotiations regarding Lang may only commence if PSG increases their offer for Godts, persuading Ajax to consider selling the winger. Last season, Godts made 46 appearances, scoring 17 goals and providing 17 assists.

The addition of Lang would further bolster Ajax's squad, which has already seen the arrival of Ter Stegen on loan from FC Barcelona, along with the earlier signing of former Borussia Dortmund star Julian Brandt.
