The Police Discover That Arthur Tried to Kill Victor
At the police station, Sara and Damien are trying to connect the explosion at the construction site with Arthur's murder case. At the same time, Sara receives a call from Karim informing her that Victor wants to make a statement.
Karim is indeed accompanying Victor, who tells Sara that he found an apartment for Lou and Arthur in Marseille. He adds that Arthur insisted on paying three months' rent in advance, totaling €7,900, and that he didn't want to mention it to Lou to surprise her. Victor then hands over the cash envelope that Arthur had given him for the rent to the police, emphasizing that it's a large sum of money for a small business owner. Sara escorts him out and then informs Karim that he is reinstated. However, he must stay out of the investigation due to a conflict of interest.
Meanwhile, Victor calls Lou, who declines his call. However, she listens to the message he leaves on her voicemail, where he explains the truth and that he just spoke to the police.
In the meantime, Damien and the members of the PTS return to search Arthur's home. Behind a baseboard, Damien finds a bag of cash. Back at the police station, he counts over €50,000 in €50 notes. After analysis, Roxane states that these are counterfeit bills. She deduces that Arthur was in contact with a counterfeiter and that his murder is linked to organized crime and thus a settling of scores.
A little later, Damien informs Sara that he found a Bluetooth adapter at Arthur's that can serve as a remote detonator and that he found debris among the sealed items from the construction site. There is no doubt left for the police: it was indeed Arthur who tried to kill Victor...
Diego Returns Home
As Chloé and Alex prepare to visit Diego in the visiting room, Raphaëlle personally comes to inform them that the judge has agreed to release him in the afternoon under judicial supervision.
At the Halles, Christelle rejoices for Alex and Judith. Marco, on the other hand, does not hesitate to express his opinion loudly, stating that Diego belongs in prison.
Chloé shares the good news with Erica, Audrey, and Astrid at the end of their dance class on the beach.
As agreed, Diego returns home in the afternoon. He is very happy to see everyone again. After that, he spends some time alone with Alex. He confesses that he still thinks about Bella and continues to defend her. Alex does not share his opinion. He advises him to stay out of trouble until his trial.
Kevin Passes His Baccalaureate Oral Exam
At school, Diane, Ellie, Marceau, and Kevin are preparing to take their French oral exam. Kevin pretends he has conjunctivitis that requires him to wear sunglasses. In fact, they are glasses that allow him to film.
After the oral exam, Kevin shows the video to his classmates. They are impressed because he actually did very well on his test.
Kevin also shows the video to his brother, who is very proud of him.
