On June 17, Arthur Verges (Amrboise Michel) was found dead at his home in Tomorrow Belongs to Us.

Quickly, suspicions fell on Karim (Samy Gharbi). It must be said that the police officer was already in a delicate situation.

Suspected of being behind the explosion that nearly cost Victor (Farouk Bermouga) his life, he had also held Nina for several days against her mother's wishes to prevent her from leaving for Marseille. His presence at the crime scene did not help his case.

Placed in police custody for murder, Karim was, however, quickly exonerated.

But then, if he didn’t kill Arthur, who is the real culprit? One thing is certain: Commander Constant's team is working tirelessly to shed light on this case. Their recent discoveries could reveal the true face of Arthur.

The Police Discover Arthur's True Face

In the episode airing on June 22, already available on the TF1+ platform, Victor goes to the police station to make an important statement.

Indeed, Arthur had given him 7,900 euros in cash to pay three months' rent in advance for the apartment he had found for them in Marseille. This is a particularly significant amount for a small business owner.

This revelation prompts the investigators to conduct a new search at the victim's home. On-site, they discover 50,000 euros in counterfeit bills hidden behind a baseboard.

Now, everything suggests that Arthur was involved in a major criminal enterprise and that his work as a firefighter and his activity at the Halles were merely a cover.

Convinced that Arthur had been hiding something from the beginning, Damien then retrieves the sealed evidence from Victor's construction site. His goal? To establish a link between the explosives used on the site and a possible counterfeiting network, while also trying to connect Arthur's murder to the attempted homicide of the businessman.

And his research will bear fruit, as the police officer will find the Bluetooth adapter that served as a detonator during the explosion. It is now beyond doubt for the investigators that it was Arthur who tried to kill Victor. This makes the latter their main suspect.

Are they right? Answers coming soon in Tomorrow Belongs to Us.
