The Police Investigate Astrid's Assault
While Chloé changes the bandage on Astrid's shoulder wound, she recounts to Sara and Damien the assault she suffered the day before: as she was returning from shopping, she heard a noise and discovered a man wearing a balaclava in her living room. Indeed, she had left the patio doors open. He then threatened her with a knife, demanding money. In the heat of the moment, Astrid fell onto her coffee table and injured her shoulder. Afterward, hearing noise outside, he dragged her into her bedroom. When Chloé and Audrey entered through the garden, he finally fled, taking with him her luxury handbag.
Based on her testimony, the police quickly conclude it was a burglary. However, Chloé insists on mentioning the altercation Astrid had with her neighbor. Nordine is sent to the Halles to question Marco, who denies being the perpetrator of the assault. However, he claims to have seen a man, without a balaclava, leaving Astrid's house. He goes to the police station to give his statement.
Thanks to his description, Nordine manages to spot a man on surveillance footage who seems to have followed Astrid before she returned home around 7 PM. He is seen twice: once at 6:26 PM and again at 6:48 PM. Sara assigns him to monitor second-hand sites in case the thief tries to resell Astrid's handbag, which is worth at least 2,000 euros.
A little later, an ad is indeed posted, and everything seems to match Astrid's bag. Roxane informs Nordine and Sara that the IP address of the account belongs to a limited liability company registered under the name Tony Abarca. After some research, Sara realizes he has been arrested three times for handling counterfeit goods. She decides to visit the buy-and-sell shop he runs at the docks to interrogate him.
Meanwhile, Astrid goes to lunch at La Paillote with Chloé, Audrey, and Erica to clear her mind. She is still in shock from what she experienced. Chloé suggests she come sleep at her place with Alex, but Astrid doesn't want to flee her home. Chloé then decides to sleep at her house so she won't be alone. Astrid appreciates her gesture.
At the end of the day, Chloé packs her things and leaves her family to go to Astrid's. They have drinks on the terrace, then Astrid goes inside. Chloé sends a voice message to Alex and is about to charge her phone when she hears screams coming from Astrid's room. Approaching the door, she hears Astrid yelling: "Do you think you scare me? It won't go down like this!". Astrid then comes out of the room and confronts Chloé, accusing her of spying on her...
Kevin and Marceau Set Up Banana Peels
At La Paillote, Marceau and Kevin engage in a ruthless battle to become Sofia's favorite.
A little later, Marceau takes care of Diane's order. At the same time, Sofia finds Bastien's ID card on the floor. Ellie suggests calling him so he can retrieve it. Marceau immediately guesses that it was Diane who stole it, and she confirms it.
When Bastien retrieves his ID card, he immediately accuses Marceau of being the one who stole it. Marceau defends himself by insisting he is innocent. Kevin overhears their conversation and doesn't hesitate to bring it up in front of Sofia, making it seem like Marceau is the real culprit. Sofia finds this very immature of him.
At the Spoon, Bastien recounts what happened to Violette, still convinced that Marceau is the thief. His girlfriend thinks it was Diane who did it out of revenge against her sister. She also suspects that Marceau and Diane might have teamed up for the theft.
Karim Supports His Daughter
At the Spoon, Karim runs into Victor. He takes the opportunity to tell him that he will visit Lou in the visiting room and that Nina has written a letter for her. In it, the little girl expresses her sadness. Karim is particularly touched because she adds that she is afraid to see him for fear of hurting him. Victor passes on a drawing Nina made of her mother to him as well.
In the visiting room, Karim ultimately decides not to mention the letter to Lou so as not to worry her. He only gives her the drawing. He reassures her by saying that their daughter is holding up well and that she hasn't changed her view of her.
Back at the police station, Karim confides in Roxane and Georges. The latter suggests that he pick up his daughter from school from time to time so she can then take care of Enora and Lucien to help change her mind.
Later, Karim goes to pick up his daughter from school. He explains why he didn't give her letter to her mother and reminds her that she can come to see him whenever she feels sad.
