A new musical biopic is in the works. According to information from Satellifacts, American director Bill Pohlad, who has previously worked on biopics such as Love & Mercy, focused on the Beach Boys, and Dreamin’ Wild, centered on brothers Donnie and Joe Emerson, is currently scouting locations in the Parisian neighborhood of Saint-Germain-des-Prés for Miles & Juliette, with filming set to begin in October.

The feature film will explore the meeting and love story between American trumpeter Miles Davis and French singer and actress Juliette Gréco. Their relationship began in Paris in 1949, amidst the artistic and intellectual fervor of the post-war era, at the heart of the cafés in Saint-Germain-des-Prés.
