Thursday, June 18 in Tomorrow Belongs to Us...

Karim is Suspected of Arthur's Murder

At the Halles, Judith and Romain rush to Sofia, who is in shock upon learning of Arthur's death...

At the police station, Karim tells Sara and Martin that he went to Arthur's place on a whim, hoping to change his mind about Marseille. Upon arrival, he noticed the door was ajar, and when he entered, he found Arthur on the floor, dead, with a head wound.

Despite his statements, several elements are against him: the fact that he left his mobile phone at home and called Martin from Arthur's landline around 7:05 PM, or that he touched Arthur to check his pulse, but most importantly, he was alone with him and had a clear motive. Martin has no choice but to place him under arrest for murder.

Afterward, Martin summons Lou for questioning. She claims she has no idea who could have harmed Arthur. She is certain that Karim would not be capable of such an act. However, Martin informs her that everything points to him and that he has indeed been placed under arrest.

Martin then goes to Arthur's home, where the forensic team is taking measurements. There are no signs of forced entry. According to the initial report from the medical examiner, Arthur died between 5 PM and 7 PM due to a blow to the head with a blunt object.

Meanwhile, Sara visits Karim in his cell. He is convinced that the person who killed Arthur is one of Joyce's victims, of whom he was an accomplice.

At the same time, Lou tells her daughter that Arthur is dead. In shock, Nina immediately thinks that her father killed him because they hated each other. Lou assures her otherwise.

At the Halles, all the merchants are also in shock. Informed by Lou, Émilie tells the Delcourts that Karim has been arrested for Arthur's murder. Alex then admits to Chloé and Judith that he found Karim very nervous when he visited him the day before. At that moment, Martin calls him to summon him to the police station. Once there, he presses him to talk about their last meeting.

Following this interview, Martin increasingly doubts Karim. Indeed, Alex described him as nervous and aggressive, which is not his normal state. Martin suspects that Karim actually arrived at Arthur's place around 6:30 PM, killed him, then disposed of the murder weapon before calling. This makes sense since Damien confirms that the murder weapon has still not been found...

Bruno Cares for Soizic

Soizic has caught Bruno's virus. She is stuck on her couch. However, she refuses to let her son give up his weekend in Camargue with Gloria to take care of her.

Having come to assemble his furniture, Bruno looks after her. He offers to go grocery shopping to cook her some soup. Upon returning from shopping, he realizes that Samuel has also come to take care of Soizic. He leaves the groceries with them and departs, feeling sheepish.

Sébastien Apologizes to Daniel

Daniel has no intention of responding to his brother's invitation as he suspects him of acting solely to ease his conscience. However, Marguerite encourages him to accept the invitation. Sébastien then suggests they go for a coffee.

The two brothers meet at Spoon. Sébastien apologizes to Daniel and admits that he should never have flirted with Solange. He adds that he should have set a good example as the older brother. Daniel takes this very poorly. He criticizes his brother, whom he finds self-absorbed, then calls him an "idiot" before leaving.

Sébastien then tells Marianne what happened with Daniel. He explains that his brother has always been like this, even before the incident with Solange. Marianne suggests that he is simply jealous. In any case, Sébastien now intends to avoid his brother as much as possible until he goes home.
