Demain nous appartient: Karim Arrested After Arthur's Death?

Arthur is dead! But who killed Lou's partner in Demain nous appartient? One thing is certain, Karim will be at the center of all suspicions...

Warning, this article contains spoilers about upcoming episodes of Demain nous appartient. If you don't want to know anything, do not read what follows!

Is Karim's (Samy Gharbi) life about to turn into a nightmare in Demain nous appartient?

Since Arthur Verges (Ambroise Michel) entered the lives of Lou and Nina, the policeman has never hidden his distrust of him. And it must be said that he had good reasons to doubt.

Indeed, Arthur is trying to pin the blame on him for the explosion that nearly cost Victor (Farouk Bermouga) his life. As if that weren't enough, he also managed to convince Lou to move to Sète with him.

Determined to protect his loved ones and unmask the one he considers a threat, Karim is taking multiple initiatives to catch Arthur. However, his increasingly nervous and impulsive behavior could very well backfire.

And for good reason! This Wednesday, June 17, 2026, Arthur Verges was found dead at his home. Even more troubling, it was Karim himself who discovered the body...

Karim in Police Custody!

In the episode airing on June 18, already available on the TF1+ platform, Karim is being interrogated by the police and explains to Martin (Franck Monsigny) the reasons for his visit to Arthur.

"The idea of moving to Marseille came from him, that's why I went to see him. I tried with Lou but it didn't work, so I thought Arthur was my last option. He got along well with my daughter and since she wanted to stay in Sète, I thought I could convince him".

Karim claims he went to Arthur's house around 7:05 PM. As for the call made from the victim's landline, he insists he used it because he didn't have his mobile phone with him.

When Martin asks him if he has any evidence that could exonerate him, Karim answers negatively.

"It happened exactly as I told you. I arrived, I saw that the door was ajar. I thought something was off. I went in and saw that he was on the floor in the position you found him. He had a wound on his head", he continues.

The policeman also specifies that he touched Arthur's carotid to check his pulse.

Despite his explanations, the evidence is against him and Martin has no choice but to place him in custody for murder.

Victor Soon in the Police's Crosshairs

While Karim initially appears as the main suspect, the investigation could quickly take another direction.

"Several testimonies, including one from Victor, allow investigators to better define Arthur's profile. But some revelations turn against Victor. Lou provides him with unconditional support", can be read in this week's issue of Télé Star.

But who killed Arthur? Answers coming soon in Demain nous appartient!
