Ici tout commence: What to Expect in Episode 1461 on Thursday, June 18, 2026 [SPOILERS]

In the next episode of "Ici tout commence"... In the midst of a challenge, Coline, Ferdinand, and Rose are at each other's throats. In the kitchen, Bakary struggles to make himself heard... Finally united, Tom and Julia settle their scores.

Thursday, June 18 in Ici tout commence...

Rose Puts Her Brigade at Risk

At the Institute, Ferdinand assures Billie that he is ready to stop the petty squabbles and that he will not throw Rose under the bus regarding her use of the tent. However, he is still very stressed about the exams. He explains to Billie that for the first time in his life, he finally feels like he belongs and does not want to lose that place. Billie encourages him to fight for what he wants, pointing out that Rose is likely in the same mindset as he is.

Meanwhile, Coline checks in on Rose, worried about her dizziness from the previous day. However, Rose assures her that she feels perfectly fine. At that moment, Ferdinand joins them. He immediately states that he knows about the tent but will not say anything. His only goal is to achieve an average of 12/20.

The students then gather at the Double A, where Chef Anne-Sophie Pic announces the content of the first challenge. Titled "The Revealed Plate," it consists of creating a dish that stands on its own while being accompanied by a sauce or broth that transforms it or at least reveals all its flavors.

Rose suggests to Ferdinand and Coline that they go with tomato, which they quickly agree to. They head to the kitchen, where Claire Guinot supervises the challenge. The trio's workflow is quite smooth. However, Rose still feels dizzy. She hides it from her teammates until the plating moment, when she is unable to hold a tweezers in her hand. Coline offers to handle the sauce while she takes care of the plating. With her hand still trembling, Rose accidentally drops the sauce pot on the floor. This sends Ferdinand into a panic, who tells her to step outside for some fresh air. He then tries to salvage the situation with Coline.

At the end of the challenge, Anne-Sophie Pic tastes the plates from the trio alongside Teyssier and Clotilde. When they come to Rose, Ferdinand, and Coline's dish, Claire explains the circumstances of its creation. She assumes that Rose mishandled the pressure. Anne-Sophie declares that the dish is a failure and that she doesn't even want to give it a passing grade.

Outside, Ferdinand is furious with Rose, unlike Coline, who is worried about her. At that moment, the results of the first challenge are posted in the park. Teyssier personally informs the two students that they scored 8/20. He seeks to understand what happened. Ferdinand can't help but throw Rose under the bus.

Teyssier then shows up at the Leroy household, where Rose is resting with Marc. He explains that he is aware of everything and considers the couple's behavior completely irresponsible. He forbids Rose from participating in the remaining challenges...

Bakary Struggles to Assert Himself

Gary and Bakary are thrilled to be in a trio with Léonard for the exams since he topped the previous year. They trust him completely and automatically designate him as the head of their brigade. Gary volunteers to be the second, while Bakary offers to be the commis.

Once the first challenge begins, Léonard and Gary, however, clash over their ideas and each remain entrenched in their positions. Clotilde, who is supervising their challenge at the Atelier, reminds them that there are three of them who need to make decisions. Léonard and Gary then turn to Bakary, who suggests finding a middle ground between their two proposals. Thus, the trio scores 15/20.

Tom and Julia Can No Longer Stand Each Other

To get back at Mehdi and Jim, Julia and Tom continue to play the couple in front of them, even though they can hardly stand each other.

Their little act eventually comes to an end as the day goes on because their true feelings resurface. Witnessing the situation, Enzo calls them out, suggesting they get to work to produce a complete menu for the upcoming selections for the pop-up restaurant.
