Reggina Targets Experienced Striker: Comi, Patierno, and Maggio Under Consideration

Reggina is actively pursuing new signings to bolster their attacking lineup. The club's sporting director, Giancarlo Romairone, is particularly focused on acquiring an experienced striker who can bring physicality, know-how, and scoring ability to the team.

Currently, three players are reportedly on Romairone's radar: Gianmario Comi, Cosimo Patierno, and Domenico Maggio.

The possibility of signing Comi could mark a return to Reggina for the forward, who is owned by Pro Vercelli. Initial inquiries have already been made to assess the feasibility of a transfer and the player's interest in rejoining the club.

On the other hand, securing Cosimo Patierno from Avellino presents a more complex challenge. While the striker is expected to leave his current club, negotiations with Reggina are proving to be difficult and may require additional efforts from the amaranto management.

Domenico Maggio, currently with Scafatese and under contract until 2027, is also being considered. Maggio is familiar with the league and has a history in the I division. However, Reggina faces stiff competition for his signature, particularly from Sarnese, who has shown a long-standing interest in the player.

Romairone remains committed to exploring the transfer market for the right opportunity. With three names in play, the priority is clear: to provide Reggina with a seasoned striker capable of enhancing the team's offensive strength.
