Reggina's Third Day in Cantalupa: Double Training Sessions Focus on Fitness and Tactics

Reggina is progressing steadily in their training camp in Cantalupa. On the third day of preparations, head coach Marco Marchionni and his staff put the team through a rigorous double training session that included athletic work, tactical exercises, and a concluding match to reinforce their playing principles.

The morning session was dedicated to physical conditioning in the gym, where the players engaged in a targeted program aimed at enhancing their athletic performance. This phase of training is crucial for laying the groundwork ahead of the official season commitments.

In the afternoon, the team regrouped at the "Grande Torino" sports field in Cantalupa. The session commenced with tactical activation focused on defensive phases, followed by the classic five-on-two rondos in geometric patterns.

The squad then shifted their focus to ball possession and offensive strategies, paying special attention to collective movements and the development of plays, all under the guidance of the coaching staff.

To wrap up the day, an eleven-a-side match was held on a pitch approximately 65 meters long. This exercise allowed the players to implement what they practiced during training and provided Marchionni with an opportunity to assess the team's response.

Additionally, the club announced that starting next week, training sessions will be open to the press and fans, enabling them to witness the training camp activities in Cantalupa firsthand.
