Since her arrival in Sète, Astrid (played by Lucie Lucas) has been living under a false identity in Demain nous appartient. After faking her own death to escape Gautier Sénès, she was finally arrested on July 10, 2026. Now, the time has come for her to reveal the truth.

Astrid Reveals All

In the episode airing on July 13, which is already available on the TF1+ platform, Astrid chooses to come clean to Commander Constant (Franck Monsigny). She shares, "The life insurance was Gautier's idea. When I met him, I was in a tough spot. I had found a way to siphon some money from the company we worked for. He caught me. Instead of turning me in, he proposed a deal: his silence in exchange for a more serious scam together. He had it all planned out."

Astrid and Gautier maintained the facade of a perfect couple until he pretended to die. However, once the insurance money was deposited, Gautier tried to double-cross her by transferring the entire sum into his own account. Alerted by their bank manager, Astrid managed to block the transfer, reclaim the money, and flee.

Upon arriving in Sète, Astrid aimed to start anew, free from her debts, health issues, and especially from Gautier. She explains, "When Gautier found me, I realized I needed to disappear for good. So, I arranged that boating accident and pretended I was dead. Then I left without telling the girls. They had already done so much for me."

Did Astrid Kill Gautier?

While Astrid admits to having had a confrontation with Gautier, she insists that she did not kill him. Last Tuesday, as she was leaving Sète, she went to retrieve the money she had hidden at her home before hitting the road. She recounts, "I was so stressed. It was so hot that I started to feel faint. I pulled over to get some air, and that’s when he appeared. He was like a madman. He chased me, and I ran, but he caught up with me. He knocked me down. When I got back up, yes, I pushed him hard. That’s when he fell onto the rocks."

Astrid did not call for help, claiming that Gautier was attacking her. She adds, "He wasn’t dead because I heard him. He kept saying, 'I’m going to get you.' I ran away."

But what truly happened after Astrid left? Did Gautier fall, or was he killed by someone else? Tune in to the upcoming episodes of Demain nous appartient to find out.
