In our ongoing series exploring the world of film posters, we arrive at the letter "H" for our eighth installment. This edition invites movie enthusiasts to test their knowledge by recognizing seven film titles that start with this letter.
As we continue our alphabetical journey through film title quizzes, let’s take a moment to reflect on our previous challenge featuring the letter "G." The first poster showcased a massive, golden letter G set against a warm ochre-red background. Among the options were two films that matched this color scheme: Goldfinger, featuring Sean Connery as James Bond, and GoldenEye, another Bond film starring Pierce Brosnan. However, the correct answer was the third option, as the G actually belonged to Ridley Scott's epic, Gladiator.
Beware of Traps!
The fourth question transported participants back to the 1980s, presenting a dark red G casting a shadow on a beige backdrop. Three classic films from that decade were offered: Gremlins, Big, and The Goonies. While 8% of respondents leaned towards the Tom Hanks film and 19% were drawn to the mischievous creatures of Joe Dante, a significant majority correctly identified The Goonies, directed by Richard Donner, as the right answer.
The seventh and final question featured a strikingly bright yellow G with rounded shapes. Among the choices were two musical films, and although Dirty Dancing garnered only 5% of the votes, Grease managed to mislead 35% of participants. The correct answer, however, was the third option, which was indeed the G from George Lucas's American Graffiti.
