Since Arthur (Ambroise Michel) entered the lives of Lou (Rani Bheemuck) and Nina (Émilie Colliou-Mercier), Karim (Samy Gharbi) has become particularly wary in Tomorrow Belongs to Us.
Now convinced that the market vendor is trying to frame him for the explosion that nearly cost Victor (Farouk Bermouga) his life, the policeman is doing everything he can to unmask him and protect his daughter, even if it means crossing certain lines.
Convinced that Arthur is a dangerous man and refusing to let Lou move to Marseille with their daughter, Karim made a radical decision in the episode aired on Monday, June 15.
Where Are Karim and Nina?
Determined to protect his daughter from Arthur, Karim decided not to return Nina to her mother. Contrary to what Lou may fear, the policeman has not left Sète and is still at home with his daughter. Since then, he has not responded to calls from the lawyer or Émilie. He even goes so far as to not take Nina to school the next morning to enjoy the day with her.
This situation plunges Lou into worry. Convinced that Karim has gone too far, she will file a report in the episode that will air tomorrow night on TF1. This action could have serious consequences for the policeman in the coming days.
Fortunately, Karim will eventually return Nina to her mother. "I’m trying to protect her. Your Arthur is dangerous," he explains before continuing, "I know he’s hiding things, and I’m going to find proof. But in the meantime, I don’t want him to get close to her, so you’re not sleeping at his place, and you’re not letting him sleep at yours. That’s all I ask of you."
A request that Lou categorically refuses. For her, Karim has lost all legitimacy after what he has done and is no longer in a position to impose anything on her.
