Tasked with the investigation, Alex Cerutti and his team quickly discover that the young woman had tried to contact the police the day before her death. Was she eliminated to prevent her from speaking? Meanwhile, Alex is getting closer to his brother, who might not be hiding in Argentina, but somewhere in Biarritz!
In this new episode of season 1 of Haute Saison, action is once again on the agenda. Interviewed by AlloCiné, Vinnie Dargaud (who shares insights about these new episodes) also discusses the sometimes very physical filming of the series in the Basque Country.
Vinnie Dargaud talks about filming in Biarritz
Vinnie Dargaud recounts the shooting of Haute Saison episodes in sometimes very steep locations like the city of Biarritz: "It's true that we're not a big American production, but we still have our little action sequence with my character who runs a lot (laughs). He chases the bad guys, and that happens in practically every episode: there's quite a bit of running!"
"The problem is that it's not really my strong suit... I'm not a great sprinter; it's not really my thing. But I had to get into it, especially since in film or television, it's never just one take: you often have to redo scenes two, three, four, or even ten times."
"We had to scramble quite a bit"
"I remember one sequence where I had to run in Biarritz, especially down the large stairs that lead to the beach," Vinnie Dargaud continues. "So, it's beautiful, but when you have to run down them ten times in a row, you'd better be in shape! (laughs)"
"It's not a studio shoot where you sit quietly: we had to scramble quite a bit. But that's also what is very enjoyable. It's exhausting, of course, but you come home at night feeling like you've really given it your all. And that, in the end, is extremely satisfying," says the actor, who is also seen in Scènes de Ménages on M6.
Vinnie Dargaud can be followed in Haute Saison on France 2, Friday, June 5, 2026, at 9:10 PM. The episodes are also available for free on the france.tv platform.
