Lou Discovers the Truth About Arthur

At the police station, Sara and Nordine interrogate Lou about the large amounts of cash that Arthur possessed. The young woman admits that she was unaware he had so much. When the officers add that they suspect Arthur of being involved in trafficking because the bills are counterfeit, Lou believes they are on the wrong track. She continues to describe her ex-partner as someone honest and generous.

Afterward, Sara and Nordine go to question the site manager of the Brunet hotel, which has been put on hold since the explosion. They ask him if he has ever seen Arthur hanging around the site, and he replies no. Upon learning that he was Lou's ex, the site manager does not hide his surprise. He reveals that he, like all his workers, thinks Lou is having an affair with Victor. For Sara, this could constitute a motive.

Meanwhile, Victor is undergoing a check-up at the hospital. Victoire notes the improvement of his burns. However, she also observes that his bruises have not yet healed. When she asks Victor if he has fallen since the explosion, he reacts sharply. He then apologizes, saying he is on edge.

Back at the police station, Sara, Nordine, and Damien begin to share the same suspicions as Karim regarding Victor. Indeed, they realize that he is the one who led the police to the counterfeit bills. They wonder if he returned to Arthur after killing him to confuse the investigation.

At La Paillote, Lou meets Victor and apologizes for not having told him sooner that Arthur was a psychopath. Victor embraces her to reassure her...

Marceau is Hired at La Paillote

Philippine agrees to help Victor with the recruitment for La Paillote, which reopens the next day for the new season. She suggests to Violette that she return to work there. However, Violette explains that the place reminds her too much of her brother. On the other hand, she agrees to send some friends.

Violette mentions this to Marceau, who is very interested. Diane, however, is upset with him for continuing to speak to Violette. Marceau has an interview with Philippine, just before Sofia shows up.

At the end of the day, Marceau receives confirmation from Philippine: he is hired for the summer job. His mother is very proud of him, although she gives him two weeks before he gets fired. Marceau assures her that he will do everything to keep this dream job.

Diego Still Thinks About Bella

After working out together, Chloé and Diego stop by the Spoon. They meet Audrey, Erica, and Astrid. The latter takes the opportunity to open a book for him in the hope that its reading will help him see things more clearly.

Afterward, Diego goes to lawyer Perraud's office, who explains the terms of his judicial control. She also informs him that his request for a visit with Bella has been denied, both by the judge and by the young girl herself. Raphaëlle reminds Diego how important it is for him to be impeccable until his trial.

Diego spends the rest of the day at the beach with Jack, Manny, and Maud. He takes the opportunity to apologize to her for how he treated her. She forgives him and suggests they remain friends. The young man then tries to have fun, but he still thinks about Bella.
