Despite all its awards and accolades, "Parasite" is not without a small blunder that can be spotted just over an hour into the film.

"Parasite" has all the makings of a perfect film. It has an average rating of 4.5 out of 5 from AlloCiné viewers and 4.8 from critics. Directed by Bong Joon-ho, the feature film attracted nearly 2 million viewers upon its release in 2019, in addition to winning 4 Oscars (including Best Picture), the Palme d'Or at the Cannes Film Festival, and the César for Best Foreign Film. It was a box office hit during its American release; in short, it has left its mark on its era.

The Jokers
And yet... The film contains an objective flaw. Undeniable. Absolutely inconsequential and almost invisible to the naked eye, except for... Michel and Michel. In their show "Faux raccords," specifically dedicated to the Palme d'Or winners at the Cannes Film Festival, the two troublemakers spotted ONE mistake in this incredible film.
To recap, "Parasite" tells the story of a couple with two teenage children living in poverty, in a basement, with a thankless and poorly paid job. Thanks to a friend, the son of the family, Ki-woo, is hired to tutor a girl from the local upper class. By falsifying his diploma, Ki-woo enters the life of this family that has it all and gradually manages to get his entire family hired, living with them like "parasites."
And if you examine the film closely like Michel and Michel, you will spot an error that the talented Bong Joon-ho let slip.

The Jokers
In this scene from the film, located almost halfway through, the daughter of the family, lying on the couch, holds a dog biscuit package in her left hand. However, in the very next shot, she is holding it in her right hand. Is this unforgivable? No. Does it "parasite" the film? Not at all, but still, we felt it was worth pointing out.
Since "Parasite," Bong Joon-ho has directed a South Korean-American co-production, "Mickey 17," featuring Robert Pattinson, Naomi Ackie, Steven Yeun, Toni Collette, and Mark Ruffalo. In France, the film intrigued 1.19 million curious viewers.
