Ici tout commence: What to Expect in Episode 1462 on Friday, June 19, 2026 [SPOILERS]

Friday, June 19 in Ici tout commence...

Rose Rolls Up Her Sleeves

At the Institute, Marc and Rose try to plead their case to Teyssier. However, he stands firm: in his eyes, there is no way Rose can continue with the exams. While his partner resigns herself, Marc insists to the director, to no avail.

Rose is therefore preparing her resignation letter. Clotilde, on the contrary, suggests that she hang in there, emphasizing that her dish was incredible and would have earned a much higher score than 8/20 if the trio had finished it on time.

Very motivated, Rose then arranges a meeting with Ferdinand and Coline in the kitchen so they can redo their recipe from the first test. Indeed, she really wants to hold on and prove herself.

Later, Teyssier, Clotilde, and Claire are invited to the kitchen to taste the finished dish from the trio. Everyone agrees that it’s excellent. However, the director reminds them that their score will not be changed. Rose retorts that the most important thing was to prove what they are capable of. Having convinced everyone, Teyssier ultimately agrees to let her participate in the rest of the tests.

On his side, Marc reveals to Jim the discovery he made while inspecting the tent more closely: he realized that someone had sabotaged the pipe, likely intending to kill Rose...

The Students Fear the Championship

Léonard confesses to his classmates that he doesn’t particularly want to be the top student this year if it means representing the institute at the Championship of the Best Culinary School in France. Indeed, he doesn’t have very fond memories of the previous edition.

Teyssier eventually learns that some students are deliberately aiming for an average score in the exams to avoid being the top student and sent to Castelmont, exactly for the same reasons as Léonard.

He decides to gather the students in the amphitheater to announce that all students will now be eligible to represent the Institute at Castelmont.

Tom and Julia Sleep Together

At the Workshop, Mehdi and Enzo supervise the selections for the pop-up restaurant. Tom and Julia are both candidates. They keep bickering, to the point that Enzo eventually sends them to get some fresh air at the Economat. There, the tensions between the two escalate, but they eventually lead to physical attraction. Suddenly, Tom and Julia kiss and then sleep together.

In their absence, Mehdi and Enzo focus on Lionel and his new concept, which he is ready to demonstrate to them. The young man is now pursuing a vegetarian concept in partnership with Angèle's farm, where he proposes a list of ingredients rather than a menu to clients to create their perfect plate.

Mehdi and Enzo ask to see him in action. After the demonstration and tasting, they are both impressed. Enzo confirms to Lionel that he can be very proud of himself. At the same moment, Tom and Julia reappear at the Workshop. However, Enzo informs them that it’s too late and that he has already chosen Lionel to take the reins of the pop-up restaurant. He specifies that the position will be paid, which is particularly good news for Lionel.
