In trying to catch up on lost time with Astrid (Lucie Lucas), Victoire (Solène Hébert) was far from imagining that their reunion would turn into a nightmare in Tomorrow Belongs to Us.

While drinking from her friend's glass, the young woman suddenly choked in the episode aired on Wednesday, July 1, 2026. But what really happened to her? Will she recover?

Victoire Victim of Poisoning

In the episode airing on July 2, already available on the TF1+ platform, Victoire is in the hospital but is doing much better.

After examining her, Dr. Daunier (Kamel Belghazi) quickly dismisses an initial hypothesis. "Whitish tongue, no crusts, deep inflammation… In any case, it’s not acid," he tells her.

It is at this moment that Chloé (Ingrid Chauvin) joins them with the results of the endoscopy. The diagnosis is clear: Victoire suffers from a stage 2 esophageal lesion. The doctor concludes that she was poisoned with a household product, most likely soda.

Victoire was very lucky. One more sip and she would have ended up in surgery. Fortunately, the young woman will be able to leave the hospital later that day.

Who Wants to Harm Astrid?

If it was Victoire who was poisoned, there is now no doubt that Astrid was the intended target. Quickly, suspicions will turn towards Gautier Sénès, Astrid's former colleague.

It must be said that he was aware that Astrid had embezzled 6000 euros from her company. He even demanded 50,000 euros in exchange for his silence. Unable to gather such a sum, Astrid preferred to flee, hoping never to deal with him again.

However, Gautier is also in Sète. This only strengthens the police's suspicions, who consider him the main suspect in this case.

Is the police right to suspect Gautier? And what if the real culprit was rather linked to the mysterious shared past of Astrid and Victoire? To find out, don’t miss the upcoming episodes of Tomorrow Belongs to Us.
