Chloé Has Doubts About Astrid
At the hospital, Victoire is examined by William, while Chloé hands her the results of her tests. The young woman has been the victim of a chemical attack: there was soda in her rum glass. Knowing that the glass she drank from was Astrid's, Victoire suspects Gautier of trying to harm her again.
She decides to file a complaint at the police station. Encouraged by Erica and Audrey, Astrid also files a complaint against him, which gives Sara a reason to summon him. Gautier defends himself by claiming he was on his boat with neighbors the night before. He adds that he has had no contact with Astrid since she left their former company.
Sara is forced to release him. She informs Astrid by phone, assuring her that she will eventually catch him. Astrid then updates Audrey, Erica, and Chloé on the situation. Scared, she considers retrieving her daughter and moving to Spain with her. She then goes home, expressing her need to be alone. Audrey and Erica empathize with her situation, unlike Chloé, who still feels that something is off.
Meanwhile, Victoire visits Astrid to discourage her from fleeing. She reminds her that she is a fighter and that she wouldn't be here without her. Indeed, during the summer camp where they met, Victoire nearly faced a sexual assault by the counselor if Astrid hadn't intervened at the right moment.
That evening, the girls gather at Astrid's for dinner. She announces that she has finally decided to stay in Sète. To celebrate, Victoire and she have organized a boat outing the next day. Chloé points out that she won't be able to come because she is on duty. She suggests rescheduling the activity, but seeing that the girls keep making excuses, Chloé ends up feeling that they don't want her there. An awkwardness settles in the group...
Esmée Confronts Bastien
Bastien supports Violette, who is stressed about her oral exam. At school, Esmée intentionally kicks Violette's bag while going up the stairs. Tensions immediately arise between the two girls, but Bastien manages to calm things down.
Later, Bastien asks Esmée if her exam went well. The young girl doesn't play along. She realizes that she has simply helped Violette finally confess her feelings for him. As for herself, she declares that she wishes she had never met him.
Back home, Violette is relieved because her oral exam went well. While she enjoys a moment with Bastien, her mother calls to inform her that the date for Nolan's trial has been set for September 15.
Milo Rejects Alex
At the market, Alex is upset that Milo ignores him while passing by his stand. He tries to catch up with him to explain his message, but the little boy rejects him. Witnessing their exchange, Marco can't help but chime in, accusing Alex of being incapable of taking care of children.
Later, Alex confides in Judith and Jordan. The latter recounts that he felt like he saw his father everywhere when he was little. He assures Alex that it is not his fault if Milo felt so rejected.
