Ici tout commence: What to Expect in Episode 1469 on Tuesday, June 30, 2026 [SPOILERS]

Gaëtan Breaks Up with Alice

At the Institute, Alice confesses to Gaëtan that she regrets not telling him she was pregnant and that she had an abortion. However, the young man clearly expresses his refusal to discuss the topic at that moment. In any case, Alice is called upon by Teyssier, who reproaches her for the no-show she had the day before. He warns her about the new time slot that Mentissa has found for the tasting: the following afternoon.

Alice heads straight back to the kitchen to work on the birthday cake for the singer. Despite the support from Stanislas and Anaïs, she still feels very bad about Gaëtan and struggles to concentrate.

Later, Solenn arrives in the kitchens to visit her sister, revealing that she is the one who recommended her to Mentissa, with whom she has become a personal assistant. Indeed, Solenn is eager to spend more time with Alice. But Alice retorts that the timing is not right. Disappointed, Solenn leaves and returns to the Jourdain hotel. There, Thelma and Noé are delighted to have received small gifts from Mentissa, unlike Mattéo, who received nothing.

On his side, Stanislas decides to go see Gaëtan to talk about the situation. As the conversation unfolds, Gaëtan discovers that he was already aware of it, just like Angèle. This makes him even angrier.

Upon returning to the farm, he confronts Alice, accusing her of confiding in their roommates while keeping him in the dark. He suspects her of not telling him for fear that he might try to change her mind. He concludes that they have nothing left to do together if she cannot trust him...

Bakary Doesn’t Want to Leave the Institute

Having finished his year, Bakary is soon returning to Bordeaux. To mark the occasion before his departure, he proposes to Gary and Milan to play a game of volleyball at the beach. The two boys decline, explaining that they have already planned to go to the Midnight Echo festival. Bakary wants to join them, but they tell him that the event is sold out.

After checking, Bakary realizes that there are still spots available. He feels hurt and betrayed. He confides in Stanislas and Coline about it. The latter agrees to accompany him to the beach to play volleyball. There, Gary and Milan surprise him by showing up: they never intended to go to the festival! Bakary is thrilled.

At the end of their volleyball game, Bakary confides to Milan that he really wants to stay at the Institute. He plans to negotiate with Teyssier.

Anaïs Advocates for Her Menu

Anaïs takes the opportunity to run into Hector to explain why Teyssier fired her from the Double A for the day's service. She details her trompe l’oeil concept with offal.

Convinced, the chef allows her to use the kitchens of the Double A. He informs Teyssier that he will select the students to send to the Championship differently than during a high-pressure service.

After hearing very good feedback about Anaïs's menu, Teyssier comes to apologize and acknowledges that he made a misjudgment. He then shows interest in her mystery menu.
