Cinema Quiz: Only Tom Cruise Fans Can Score 8/8!

Tom Cruise is celebrating his 64th birthday this Friday! Let's celebrate with one of Hollywood's most bankable actors by dedicating today's quiz to him, featuring eight of his films to identify.

The mega star Tom Cruise, who turns sixty-four today, doesn't seem ready to hang up his boots. In fact, the actor, who likely concluded his participation in the Mission Impossible franchise last year with Mission Impossible: The Final Reckoning after portraying Ethan Hunt eight times, already has new projects lined up for the coming years.

We will see him again starting September 20 in the new film by Alejandro Gonzalez Inarritu, the director known for films such as Babel, Birdman, and The Revenant. The film titled Digger will tell the story of the most powerful man in the world who embarks on a frantic mission to prove he is the savior of humanity before the disaster he has unleashed destroys everything.

With such a catchy pitch, and knowing that the director is the only one to date who has enabled Leonardo DiCaprio to win the long-awaited Best Actor Oscar with the film The Revenant, one might wonder if 2027 could also crown Tom Cruise, who has yet to win an Oscar, aside from the honorary award presented last year.

Coming Soon: Top Gun 3

Another project in the pipeline is the return of the Top Gun franchise with a third installment, as producer Jerry Bruckheimer officially announced during the panel dedicated to Paramount's future at CinemaCon (a gathering of theater operators from around the world held in Las Vegas) last April that a Top Gun 3 is on the way, and Tom Cruise will reprise his role as Pete "Maverick" Mitchell, undoubtedly once again piloting fighter jets himself.

In the meantime, here’s a new quiz about the Hollywood star with eight of his films to recognize using just one image.
